About Ali Eren Balikel

Ali Eren was born in Adana, part of historical region of Kilikya and grown up in Mersin, also situated in the heart of ancient Kilikya region, which now falls within Mediterranean region of modern Turkey, spanning from famous Antalya in the west, going through Adana and finally consisting of Mersin in the east. He spent his entire childhood within the region until he moved to London in 2005.

While obtaining his Bachelor degree in Business and also MBA, he gained experiences within the food and coffee industry where he learnt he has passion within the industry and environment. Hence he wrote his master thesis on “Mediterranean Cuisine in London”, theories of which led him to found Kilikya’s Turkish Deli, which is exact example of a Mediterranean cuisine, consisting of light, healthy choices such as Mezes authentic Turkish Patisseries, along with good quality coffees .

As he has just developed the business, he is now trying to add new and similarly exciting and authentic projects to his Kilikya’s business
